Buy VW Polo [AW] Front Wiper Blade Set – 2G2 998 002 C – Genuine Volkswagen

Product Overview: Genuine Volkswagen Polo [AW] Front Wiper Blade Set

Ensure your visibility remains crystal clear in all weather conditions with the Genuine Volkswagen Front Wiper Blade Set (OEM Part: 2G2 998 002 C). Specifically engineered for the Volkswagen Polo [AW] (2018–Present), these blades are a critical safety component designed to integrate perfectly with your vehicle’s windscreen geometry and wiper arm pressure.

Unlike universal aftermarket wiper blades, which often struggle with the specific curvature of the Polo [AW] windscreen, these genuine blades feature an aerodynamic, low-profile design. This ensures consistent, silent contact across the entire swept area, eliminating streaks, judder, and wind-lift at motorway speeds.

Why Choose Genuine VW Wiper Blades?

• Precision Aerodynamics: Designed to maintain constant, even pressure on the windscreen, preventing “missed spots” and noise.

• Superior Rubber Formulation: VW’s proprietary rubber compound is optimized for the US climate—retaining flexibility in freezing winter temperatures while resisting hardening from summer heat and UV rays.

• Perfect Integration: Designed for the specific wiper arm connection of the Polo AW, allowing for a quick, secure, and tool-free “plug-and-play” installation.

• Long-Term Performance: Genuine blades are stress-tested for thousands of cycles, outlasting cheaper alternatives and maintaining their clearing performance throughout their lifespan.

Compatibility & Fitment

This wiper blade set is the official factory replacement for the Volkswagen Polo [AW] generation.

• Compatible Models: VW Polo [AW] / [GP] (2018–Present)

• OEM Part Number: 2G2 998 002 C

• Fitment Note: Ensure your wiper arms are free from road film and debris before installing new blades. We recommend wiping the windscreen with a glass cleaner before the first use to ensure a perfect contact surface.

Performance, Build Quality, and Maintenance

Engineering for Longevity

Volkswagen wiper blades are not just strips of rubber; they are advanced components that work in harmony with your vehicle’s sensor systems (such as rain-sensing wipers). The material composition ensures smooth movement across the glass, which is vital for preventing the “chatter” that can damage delicate windscreen sensors.

Maintenance Tips for Maximum Visibility

• Clean Regularly: Use a damp microfiber cloth to wipe the rubber edge of the blades periodically to remove grit, which causes streaking.

• Winter Care: Never use your wipers to clear heavy ice from the windscreen. Always clear the glass first using a de-icer or the vehicle’s defrost function to prevent tearing the rubber.

• Annual Replacement: For maximum safety, we recommend replacing your wiper blades annually, typically before the onset of autumn, to ensure you are ready for the US’s wettest months.
