Buy VW Polo [AW] Rear Wiper Blade – 2G0 955 427 – Genuine Volkswagen

Product Overview: Genuine Volkswagen Rear Wiper Blade

Maintain perfect rear visibility in all weather conditions with the Genuine Volkswagen Rear Wiper Blade (Part Number: 2G0 955 427). Designed specifically for the Volkswagen Polo [AW] (2018–Present), this blade is a critical safety component, ensuring your rear view remains clear of rain, road spray, and dirt.

As a Genuine OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) component, this blade is engineered to match the exact curvature of the Polo’s rear window, ensuring a consistent, silent, and streak-free sweep every time you use it. Unlike “universal” supermarket wiper blades, this genuine item is precision-molded for the specific mounting arm of the Polo AW.

Why Choose Genuine VW Rear Wiper Blades?

• Factory-Precision Fitment: Engineered specifically for the Polo AW tailgate, guaranteeing a perfect connection and optimal contact with the rear glass.

• Premium Rubber Compound: VW’s proprietary rubber formula is designed to withstand the harsh US climate, maintaining flexibility in freezing winters and resisting degradation from summer heat and UV rays.

• Whisper-Quiet Operation: Designed to glide smoothly across the glass without the “chatter” or squeaking often found in cheaper, low-quality alternatives.

• Long-Term Performance: Rigorously tested for durability, these blades are designed to provide a consistent wipe for thousands of cycles, keeping your rear view safe for longer.

Compatibility & Fitment

This wiper blade is the official factory replacement for the Volkswagen Polo [AW] generation.

• Compatible Models: VW Polo [AW] / [GP] (2018–Present)

• OEM Part Number: 2G0 955 427

• Fitment Note: Installation is quick and simple. Ensure the wiper arm is in the correct position, remove the old blade, and click the new 2G0 955 427 blade into place. Before fitting, we recommend cleaning the rear glass to ensure there is no ingrained grime that might damage the new blade’s rubber edge.

Performance, Build Quality, and Maintenance

Engineering for Excellence

The rear wiper is essential for your safety when reversing, parking, or maneuvering in heavy traffic. A genuine blade ensures that you aren’t just pushing water around, but actively clearing the glass, which is vital for maintaining your situational awareness.

Maintenance Tips for Visibility

• Clean Regularly: Use a damp microfiber cloth to wipe the rubber edge of the blade periodically to remove grit and road film, which is the primary cause of streaking.

• Winter Care: Avoid using your wipers to clear heavy ice from the rear window. Always clear the glass first using a de-icer to prevent tearing the delicate rubber edge.

• Annual Replacement: We recommend replacing your rear wiper blade annually, usually in the autumn, to ensure you are prepared for the US’s wettest months.
