Buy Tiguan [5NA] Rear Wiper Blade (5NA 955 427 B) – Genuine Volkswagen Parts

Maintain perfect visibility in all weather conditions with the Genuine Volkswagen Rear Wiper Blade (Part Number: 5NA 955 427 B). Designed specifically for the Volkswagen Tiguan [5NA] (production date from November 2022 onwards), this wiper is a vital component for safe driving, ensuring your rear windscreen remains clear of rain, sleet, and road spray.

Product Overview

As a vehicle-specific component, this rear wiper blade is not a universal aftermarket item; it is the exact same high-performance blade installed at the factory during the assembly of your Tiguan.

• OEM Part Number: 5NA 955 427 B

• Compatibility: Designed for Tiguan [5NA] models produced from November 2022 onwards.

• Function: Delivers streak-free wiping and optimal pressure distribution across the rear window surface.

• Why it Matters: A worn wiper blade can scratch your glass, reduce visibility during reversing, and cause distracting squeaking noises. Genuine replacements restore factory-level performance immediately.

Compatibility & Fitment

This blade is precision-engineered for the later-model Tiguan [5NA].

• Model Year: 11/2022–Present.

• Engine/Trim: Compatible across all engine variants and trim levels for this production window.

• Why correct fitment is key: The Tiguan’s rear wiper arm uses a specific connection clip. Using a genuine VW blade ensures a secure “click-in” fit, preventing the wiper from detaching or damaging the rear motor assembly during operation.

How It Works

The rear wiper assembly relies on a tensioned spring mechanism in the arm and a precision-moulded rubber blade. This genuine VW blade features:

• Graphite-Coated Rubber: Reduces friction against the glass for a silent, smooth glide.

• Dual-Rubber Technology: A soft edge for wiping and a firm base for structural stability.

• Aerodynamic Profile: Ensures the blade stays in contact with the glass even at motorway speeds.

Performance Benefits

• Maximum Clarity: Eliminates streaks and water smearing.

• Quiet Operation: Eliminates the “chatter” often associated with inferior aftermarket blades.

• Long-Term Durability: Engineered to withstand the specific UV exposure and extreme temperature changes common in the US climate.

• Safety: Improved rear visibility is critical for parking, lane changes, and overall situational awareness.

Build Quality & Engineering

Volkswagen genuine wiper blades are subjected to millions of test cycles. The blade profile is matched exactly to the curvature of the Tiguan’s rear window, ensuring uniform contact pressure. Unlike generic “one-size-fits-all” blades, this OEM part offers seamless integration with the vehicle’s wiper motor, preventing unnecessary load on the motor and extending its lifespan.

Installation & Maintenance

• DIY Friendly: This part is designed for easy “plug-and-play” installation. No special tools are required.

• Recommendation: We recommend replacing your rear wiper blade every 12 months, or sooner if you notice smearing or skipping.

• Tip: Clean your rear window glass with a high-quality glass cleaner before installing a new blade to remove grit and oil, which can prematurely wear the new rubber edge.
