Buy ID.4 / ID.5 Rear Wiper Blade – 11A 955 427 A 9B9 in the US – Genuine Volkswagen Parts in Stock

Ensure optimal visibility and safety in all weather conditions with the Genuine Volkswagen Rear Wiper Blade for your ID.4 or ID.5. Engineered specifically for the unique curvature of the ID series rear screen, this original equipment (OE) component guarantees a streak-free, quiet performance that aftermarket alternatives often fail to match.

Product Overview

The rear wiper blade is a critical component for maintaining a clear view of the road behind you, particularly in the unpredictable British climate. This part (OEM Part Number: 11A 955 427 A 9B9) is a Genuine Volkswagen component, meaning it is manufactured to the exact specifications of your vehicle.

Unlike universal aftermarket blades, this genuine VW wiper is designed for a perfect, factory-fit connection, ensuring the blade maintains constant, even pressure across the entire rear window. By replacing your worn wiper blade with a genuine part, you are ensuring your vehicle’s advanced driver assistance systems—which often rely on clear rear-view monitoring—function exactly as intended.

Compatibility & Fitment

This wiper blade is precision-engineered for the modern Volkswagen ID fleet:

• Volkswagen ID.4 (2021–Present): Including 1st Edition, Pro, Pro S, Pro S Plus, and Standard models.

• Volkswagen ID.5 (2021–Present): Designed for the specific glass profile of the ID.5’s sportier silhouette.

Fitment Note: Using the correct OEM part number (11A 955 427 A 9B9) is vital. Because this blade features a unique “rectangular button” mounting mechanism, using the correct genuine part ensures it locks securely into the wiper arm without the need for bulky, unreliable plastic adapters.

How It Works

Your rear wiper system interacts with the car’s electrical controls to sweep away rain, road spray, and debris. Over time, the rubber compound on any wiper blade hardens, cracks, or loses its flexibility due to UV exposure and road salts. When this happens, you may notice:

• Streaking: Lines of water remaining on the glass.

• Chattering: The blade skipping or bouncing across the screen.

• Squeaking: A clear sign of rubber degradation. Replacing the blade as soon as these symptoms appear is essential for maintaining clear visibility and preventing potential scratches to your rear windscreen caused by a hardened, debris-filled blade.

Performance Benefits

• Streak-Free Visibility: Specially blended rubber compound ensures clean sweeps every time.

• Quiet Operation: Engineered to glide silently across the glass, free from the “chatter” typical of budget blades.

• Heat & UV Resistance: Formulated to withstand harsh sunlight, extreme cold, and the chemicals commonly found in screenwash fluid.

• Longevity: Genuine VW components are stress-tested to last significantly longer than lower-grade alternatives, providing better value over time.

Build Quality & Engineering

Volkswagen’s “Das Original” philosophy means this blade is built for longevity. It features:

• Precision Engineering: Exact fit for the ID.4/ID.5 rear glass arc.

• High-Quality Materials: Advanced polymer and rubber construction.

• Corrosion Resistance: The mounting clip and internal spring steel are treated to resist rust, ensuring the blade remains secure in all US weather.

Installation & Maintenance

Professional fitting is rarely required as this is a “plug-and-play” component.

• Installation: Simply lift the wiper arm, depress the rectangular button release, slide off the old blade, and click the new one into place.

• Maintenance: To extend the life of your new blade, keep the rear windscreen clean and free of abrasive grit. Check your wiper blades during your regular service intervals.

Durability & Storage

Supplied in official Volkswagen protective packaging, this wiper blade is protected from environmental damage during storage. If you are buying a spare, keep it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve the flexibility of the rubber.

Trust & Authenticity

When you purchase from Volkswagen Parts US, you are receiving an authentic component backed by the manufacturer. Avoid the risks associated with counterfeit parts—such as poor fitment, damage to the wiper motor, or ineffective clearing—by choosing the part designed specifically for your Volkswagen.
