Keep your vehicle’s luggage area secure, private, and tidy with the Genuine Volkswagen Parcel Shelf (Part Number: 5G6 867 769 F EH8). Designed specifically for the Golf Mk 7 Hatchback, this replacement shelf is essential for concealing your belongings from prying eyes and maintaining the premium, finished look of your boot interior.

Product Overview

Over time, parcel shelves can suffer from accidental damage, broken mounting pins, or sagging due to heavy use. Replacing a damaged shelf with this Genuine Volkswagen (OEM) unit is the only way to guarantee a perfect fit that operates smoothly with the tailgate. Finished in the correct “EH8” (Black/Anthracite) trim, this shelf is an exact factory match for the interior of your Golf Mk 7, ensuring that your cabin remains visually uniform and secure.

Compatibility & Fitment

This parcel shelf is precision-engineered for the Volkswagen Golf Mk 7 Hatchback.

• Vehicle Compatibility: Volkswagen Golf Mk 7 Hatchback (3-Door & 5-Door)

• OEM Part Number: 5G6 867 769 F EH8

• Trim Color: EH8 (Black/Anthracite)

Performance & Aesthetic Benefits

• Factory-Correct Fitment: Guaranteed to slide into the factory mounting slots without rattles or gaps.

• Security & Privacy: Effectively conceals items stored in the boot, protecting your belongings from theft and sun damage.

• Perfect Aesthetic Match: The EH8 finish ensures the color and texture match your boot side panels perfectly.

• Lightweight & Durable: Crafted from high-density, lightweight composite materials that are built to last while being easy to remove when you need to transport larger items.

• Smooth Operation: Integrates correctly with the lift straps, ensuring the shelf rises automatically when the tailgate is opened.

Build Quality & Engineering

When you choose a Genuine Volkswagen interior trim component, you are choosing a part designed for longevity. Unlike fragile aftermarket shelves that can warp or suffer from weak hinges, this OEM shelf is structural, durable, and designed to withstand the daily cycle of opening and closing. It meets Volkswagen’s rigorous standards for sound-deadening and rattle-free performance.

Installation

Installation is designed to be effortless:

1. Align the shelf’s hinge points with the mounting slots in the boot side panels.

2. Snap the hinge pins into place.

3. Attach the lift straps (if applicable to your model) to the tailgate studs.

• Tip: Ensure your boot is clear of obstructions during the initial installation to ensure the shelf sits flat.
