Buy VW T-Roc Headlight Mask Film (LHT) – Genuine Volkswagen Parts

Ensure your Volkswagen T-Roc is ready for driving abroad or compliant with specific local regulations with the Genuine Volkswagen Headlight Mask Film (Part Number: 2G2 941 981 A). Designed specifically for Left-Hand Traffic (LHT) regions, this mask film provides a quick, effective, and safe way to adjust your vehicle’s beam pattern to prevent dazzling oncoming drivers when travelling from right-hand traffic countries.

Product Overview

This headlight mask film is an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) accessory. It is a precision-cut adhesive film designed to be applied to the headlight lens to redirect the beam pattern of your T-Roc’s lights.

• Essential for Travel: When driving a US-spec vehicle (configured for Left-Hand Traffic) in countries that drive on the right, your headlight beams can cause glare for oncoming motorists. This mask film provides the required beam adjustment.

• Genuine OEM Precision: Unlike generic “beam deflectors” that can melt, leave residue, or cause the plastic lens to overheat, this film is engineered by Volkswagen to work with your specific headlight optics.

• Vehicle Safety: Helps you avoid potential fines abroad and ensures you are driving safely in accordance with local traffic laws.

Compatibility & Fitment

This mask film is specifically cut for the headlight profile of the Volkswagen T-Roc.

• Traffic Configuration: For Left-Hand Traffic (LHT) vehicles (US-spec).

• Part Number: 2G2 941 981 A.

• Compatibility: Designed for the T-Roc model range.

• Verification: Please confirm your vehicle’s current headlight type (e.g., LED or Halogen) if you are unsure, as beam patterns can differ. To ensure complete peace of mind, please provide your VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) when ordering, and our team will verify the compatibility for your specific model year and trim.

How It Works

The mask film acts as a precisely positioned opaque or patterned shield on the headlight lens. It blocks or redirects the portion of the light beam that would otherwise hit the wrong side of the road. Because it is a genuine VW product, the film is designed to withstand the heat generated by your T-Roc’s lights without degrading or leaving sticky residue on your clear headlight lenses.

Performance Benefits

• Regulatory Compliance: Allows you to legally and safely drive your US-spec vehicle in countries with different traffic rules.

• Prevents Glare: Protects oncoming drivers from being blinded, significantly reducing the risk of accidents.

• Safe for Headlights: Specifically tested to ensure it does not cause thermal damage to the headlight housing, which is a common problem with inferior, non-OEM alternatives.

• Easy Application/Removal: Designed to be applied before your trip and removed cleanly upon your return.

Installation & Maintenance

Installation is a quick, straightforward process:

1. Clean: Clean your headlight lens thoroughly to ensure it is free from wax, traffic film, and grease.

2. Position: Apply the mask film carefully according to the markings/instructions included with the kit.

3. Smooth: Ensure the film is firmly adhered to the surface with no air bubbles.

4. Remove: When you return from your trip, peel the film off slowly. Any remaining adhesive residue can be safely removed with an automotive-grade tar and glue remover.
